Jim Lowther has over 30 years experience as a coach and sports professional, and is currently a sports lecturer at the Ulster University.

Jim spent four seasons with Charlton FC Academy working with U12 and U13 male players and four seasons at Crystal Palace FC Academy as a player development advisor.

His football development work at Premier League level with Wimbledon FC won multiple awards including the FA award for best overall football development programme.

As a coach educator he has staffed courses for the Football Association and the Irish Football Association. He developed a successful national award winning sports development programme with McDonald's Restaurants Ltd which was the catalyst for their grassroots sponsorship at the FA and other football federations.

Jim has been a "student" of Coerver Coaching since 1990, and has always strived to provide high quality football experiences to young players of all abilities.
